How to Oven-Roast Corn on the Cob

Kids usually like anything they can eat with their hands, or dip in something. Corn on the cob is the best of both. And it’s so freakin’ easy, it’s unreal. The corn comes with its own natural steamer – the husk.

Buy some corn on the cob. Yeah, I know. I let mine get a little brown.

Pre-heat your oven to 350.

Pull off any crazy brown husk leaves, and rinse in a colander. (I got this one at IKEA.)

Put the corn on the middle rack of the oven, and  let it hang out for 30 minutes.

Remove them from the oven with tongs or whatever, or you’ll burn yourself. I used a silicon pot holder.

Pull back the husks for your kids, cuz they’re gonna be hot!

Let your kids slather it with a vegan spread (or butter, if you’re into that). We love the Earth Balance Organic Coconut Spread.

Put corn cob holders on each end, or hold it with your hands, and crush it!
